Instant mass e-mail and text messaging
Send bulk e-mail and text messages to parents at the click of a button, quickly and easily. Messages are delivered within minutes saving you bags of time.
Classes and messaging groups
Children are automatically entered into a class, so messages can be sent to individual classes, ensuring information for parents is kept relevant. Messaging groups can also be setup for parents, staff, governors, sports teams & trips, for example.
Message delivery reports
For every text message that is sent, you're able to see a full delivery report, so you know which parents have, and more importantly which parents haven't received the message.
There's now no need for letters with reply slips! For any letters that parents need to respond to, you can setup a Reply-Online allowing them to complete an electronic reply slip. Responses are then collated in one concise list.
Attachments can be sent with e-mail messages, which can be newsletters, information, reports and forms etc - up to 2mb.
As HomeContact is web-based, it can be accessed from any computer with internet access. You simply login as normal - so it's ideal for getting messages out during holiday times or days of severe weather when access to school is limited.
Hard Copy List
A list of children that still require a paper copy of any letters can be produced - so everyone still gets the information - but you only have to print the number actually required, reducing the time spent as well as your costs.
Parents' Details Updates
Every time a parent updates their contact details within HomeContact the system is able to send the account administrator an email informing them of the update and containing the parent's new details. This can then be used to update any other records.
